Examination & Timing

JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST / JUNIOR BIGYANI KANYA MEDHA BRITTI

Reporting Time: 01:30PM (log in for verification)

Examination: 02:00PM to 03:00PM

Who can apply

Students who have passed 10th standard examination in 2021 with minimum 75% marks / equivalent C.G.P.A. (in aggregate) and currently studying in class XI in science stream(with at least 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics,Electronics, Computer Science) in any school in West Bengal are eligible to apply.

Written Test question pattern

Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is a 60 minutes duration examination with full marks of 60. Students are to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) form Physical Science, Mathematics,Life Science.The distribution of questions shall be as below:

Section-A

8 questions of 2.5 marks from each subject (Total 24 questions are to be answered)
All questions are to be answered.

Award of Marks for each question:
Correct Answer: 2.5 Marks
Wrong Answer: -1 Mark
Not Attempted: 0 Mark

Financial Benefits

FOR JUNIOR SCHOLARS:
• Rs. 1250/- per month for two years

.• Rs. 2500/- Annual Book Grant for two years.

FOR JUNIOR BIGYANI KANYA MEDHA BRITTI:
• Rs.1250/- per month and annual Book grant of Rs. 2500/- for 2 years (till completion of 12th standard examination).

Who can apply
Students who have passed (10+2) Board examination (WBCHSE/ CBSE/ ISC) in the year 2021 and are studying/aspiring to study Science (Hons)/ BS-MS/Engg./ Medicine in West Bengal

Senior Talent Search Test / Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Brittiis a 90 minutes duration examination with full marks of 75. Students are to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) from Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics, Biology (any 3 subjects as per their choice)The distribution of questions shall be as below

Section-B
3 questions of 5 marks each from each subject (only 3 questions from any one subject are to be answered).

Award of Marks for each question:
Correct Answer: 5 Marks
Wrong Answer: -2 Marks
Not Attempted: 0 Mark

• Rs. 4000/- per month & Annual Book Grant : Rs. 5000/- for 4/5 years (till completion of B.Tech/ BE/ MBBS/ BS-MS/M.Sc)

FOR SENIOR BIGYANI KANYA MEDHA BRITTI:
• Rs. 4000/- per month and annual Book grant of Rs. 5000/- for
four/ five years (till completion of B.Tech/ BE/ MBBS/BS-MS/
M.Sc).
